Hares Foot Emerger

The Hares Foot is a pattern that I developed to cover a variety of emerging mayflies offered in sizes 12 and 14. For the tail and wing I use hair from the bottom of a Snowshoe Hares foot, this hair is nice and curly and contains some natural oils to help in flotation. This can also be fished as a general purpose dry fly. This will be a great addition to your dry/emerger box.
