The flies we sell are all tied right here in the shop by myself, no imports. Some of the flies are the well known patterns that have proven themselves through the years. Others are my own patterns that I have developed at the vise and tested on our local rivers and streams. I also occasionally add new flies that are brought to my attention by other local fly fishermen and women.

If you don't see one of the colors listed in the drop down box ask for it in the comment box when making the purchase

Custom tying

Demand for custom tied flies has increased and has become an important part of this shop. If you have a favorite pattern that you can't find or have an idea for a pattern call, email or make a suggestion in the comment box when making purchase. I'll let you know if I can or can not tie the pattern for you. Custom tying can take longer depending on the pattern and how busy the shop is.

The Guiding

I am a Licensed New Hampshire Fishing Guide and hold a Comrmercial Boat Operators license. I am also trained through SOLO in Wilderness First Aid and CPR. The guiding is offered on our local waters and runs from mid May to mid October. There is a good variety of options for the fly fisher in this part of New Hampshire. I focus on the small streams and ponds for trout and the Androscoggin River for both Trout and Smallmouth Bass. The Smallmouth fishing on the Pontook section is one of our best kept secrets! Please check out the guiding options and rates, then get in touch with me and we'll go from there.

See you on the water!
