Bass Flies

Fishing is supposed to be fun, right? Right! Fishing for Smallmouth or Largemouth Bass is just that, good clean fun. Picture this if you will, its a nice warm summer afternoon, you're moving slowly along the shore line of a gently flowing river. You're casting a flyrod loaded with your favorite bass fly towards downed tree limbs, grass beds, lily pads and underwater structure. The red winged Blackbirds are singing their song, a bald eagle flies high overhead looking for an afternoon snack. Some ducks fly by, low to the water at a very fast pace looking for just the right place to touch down. The sun feels good and your eyes are getting heavy. For a moment you stop paying attention to the bassbug tied to the end of your leader, sitting out there in the water near that downed tree. Maybe you're thinking, ahh, what a great day to be out here on the river. Suddenly you hear a tremendous splash toward the shore and all hell breaks loose. A Smallmouth Bass has just taken your offering and is determined to prove that he is the gamest fish pound for pound that lives in freshwater. The battle is on! Sounds like fun doesn't it, well it is. If you have'nt tried flyrodding for bass yet give it a try, but be careful, it can be addicting! Here are some patterns that can help you enjoy some of this fun.specify size and or color when ordering, thanks.
