Size #8. Very realistic pattern, floats low in the water. Can be very effective along stream banks with a lot of grass and low vegitation. The Deer Hair Hopper is a good choice from mid summer through early fall. Try letting this fly dead drift through a likely spot, give it just a little twitch or two but don't over do it. Keep it as natural a presentation as possible.
